Allegory in Honor of Henri IV by French Engraver François Marie Isidore Queverdo (1748 – 1797); and finished by French Artist Jean Dambu (1741 – 1808)

This is a beautiful a engraving done by François Queverdo to honor Henri IV (1553 – 1610) who was also known as the epithet Good King Henry or Henry the Great.

He was King of Navarre (as Henry III) from 1572 and King of France from 1589 ወደ 1610; and was the first monarch of France from the House of Bourbon, a cadet branch of the Capetian dynasty.

He was assassinated in 1610 by François Ravaillac (1578 – 1610), a Catholic zealot, and was succeeded by his son Louis XIII (1601 – 1643).

The engraving has the following inscriptions.
