Ana Bolena Arquer

Ana Bolena Arquer before 1883 by French Painter Jules Adolphe Goupil (1839 – 1883); known for his genre scenes and portraits

This is a beautiful portrait of a young lady sitting in a lush green garden in a golden wicker chair with trees, plants and flowers behind her.

She is holding an open red book in her hands, that is positioned near her chest that is illuminating her face and chest with a bright light as her elbow rest on the arms of the chair that are covered with a cloak on her left and padding on her right.

On her head she is wearing a wrapped kerchief around her brown hair, a golden hair piece tucked in the back of her hair with a yellow flower with red center on top of it.

Around her neck she has a gold locket that is lifted over blueish-white dress with a ruffled high neck collar and ruffled sleeves; that also has blue-violet ribbons attached to them, that match the ones on the lap of her dress.

This is a remastered digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image that is available as a canvas print online.
