This 1933 Chicago World’s Fair Vintage Art Poster shows the current city skyline of the times on the left with a flying plane and futuristic city skyline on the right with flying aircraft which include planes and a dirigible.
Separating these views is a female in art deco dress with her arms out stretched skywards standing on world globe right in the middle.
To her bottom right is an allegorical depiction of science, with a stone like sculpture of an sitting older man with a book in his lap and a test tube in his left hand; and to her bottom left an allegorical depiction of engineering with a stone like sculpture of a young man sitting on a platform with a large gear as he turns a large valve with both hands.
