Girl with Lovebirds
Girl with Lovebirds c1876 by French-German Painter Henry Guillaume Schlesinger (1814 – 1893); known for his portraiture, genre scenes and landscapes.

This is an adorable and cute scene of a girl sitting in a white framed armchair with copper accents, that is dressed in a light blue satin dress and wrapped in a white cloak with ruffled layering and tied off at the front; as well as two lovebirds that are part of the scene.
There is one lovebird that is on top of a mantelpiece that appears to be behaving aggressively to the other lovebird that is sitting on the left index finger of the girl’s hand, as she has her elbow placed on the left arm of the chair raising the bird near the height of the one on the mantelpiece.
While she has her right index finger of her right hand slightly pressed against her upper right cheek as she looks at the birds with a slight smile on her face.
This is a remastered digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image that is available as a rolled canvas print online.
