Oriental Nude
Oriental Nude by German Painter Hans Hassenteufel (1887 – 1943); known for his Orientalist style portraiture and nude paintings.
This is a beautiful Orientalist style portrait nude of a young woman standing in front of a brick like wall, that has a kerchief wrapped around her brown hair, tied off the back of her head and draped over her right shoulder.
She is wearing triangular gold earrings, a gold bracelet on her left wrist and has deep red blanket with brown, orange and black bands along the top and bottom ends; which she has placed over her shoulders and is holding it in place by grabbing the edges tight and holding them against the sides of her hip.
Finally there is tied around her hip a pale green cloth with color ribbons of tan overlaid with black and red stripes; which compliment the blanket over her shoulders.
