Putto Feeding A Strawberry To A Bird
Putto Feeding A Strawberry To A Bird by German Painter Nathanael Schmitt (1847 – 1918); known for his portraiture, landscapes, still life and architectural paintings.
This is an adorable and beautiful mythological piece of a Putto that is sitting on the ground in the forest with an arrow in his right hand that has a strawberry on its tip that he is trying to fit to a small bird that is on a tree branch to is left side.
In the back is a dense collection of foliage that has large bushes, plants, purple flowers with pink to white centers and grass; while off the ground ledge he is sitting on is a leather bound gold and blue quiver with arrows in it and a bow.
This is a remastered digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image that is available as a canvas print online.
