Perahu layar di pelabuhan oleh Pelukis Belanda Elias Pieter van Bommel (1819 – 1890); known for is romantic style cityscapes.

This is a beautiful seaside view of ships coming into port after a days catch, as the men and some women prepare their vessels for the next day of work.

We can see three ships docked at port of three different sizes, other ships docked further down and more ships coming in from the open seas in the far distance.

At the port are several buildings, with large trees growing between them, and in the background a cloud filled blue sky of white, biru, grey, yellow and slightly orange clouds as the sun sets casting it’s warm orange glow over the landscape and the water.
