This is a portrait done of the cadet Yacina Astranaetus when she was training to be an Octorian Guard in the service of the Asprian Princess Octavia Cerellia Trackis of the Third Dynasty.

As is custom each member male and female is assigned their own personal contingent of guards to protect them at all times, day or night, where ever they may be.

Then tradition dates back to the time of the First Republic when family members of the ruling class of a given age, whether they male or female were called upon to serve at the behest of the republic.

Often this service would begin at the age of fourteen, and thus training in the art of leadership would begin from 8 years of age; with a contingent of highly trained guards assigned to each individual when they became of age to serve.

Now some four hundred and fifty years later, the guardian position is mostly ceremonial, and over time divisions were created, where by the men have male guards and the females have female guards.

For the female guards, the most beautiful and elegant young ladies are chosen to be in the service of the Princess; and even though these young ladies are extremely elegant, they are also trained to be extremely deadly; and are quite capable of dealing with any threat that presents itself.

Here we see the cadet Yacina Astranaetus in her blue, black and gold attire which signifies her status as a trainee in the Octorian Order; when she becomes a full member of the guard the blue uniform is replaced with red one.

In the portrait Yacina is standing on a balcony with a small white bush in front of her by her left thigh; overlooking the backdrop of the anciety city of Caseran, once a major business hub; set against a sun lit blue sky with white clouds overhead.

Yacina is wearing a Kriptin helmet that has the top center open with an arrow band at the center which goes from the front of her head to the back of her head; which is merged with a wide band that goes along the circumference of the helmet.

Coming out the sides of her helmet, is an elaborately carved gold like headpiece material with two blue gemstone, that goes around to the back of her head as though it were part of her flowing brown hair.

The rest of her attire is composed of blue metal convex shoulder pads with gold like metal curving accents around the borders a revealing open oval chest cutout with gold border in her blue body hugging uniform.

The blue uniform also has black material sides with gold accent lines and borders and has a back flare skirt attached to it; while at the front the uniforms tapers thinly between her thighs, with a v-shaped gold color band at the center.

On her hips are two additional gold colored bands that make up part of her high cut panty, which is of the same color of the dress.

Her top under garment is made of one piece comprising the upper chest, back, sleeves and hands; and is adorned with a gold colored arm band, thick bracelets and blue and gold forearm pads.

Finally attached to the back of her attire is an elaborate carved winglike ornament that extends past her arms, goes from just below her shoulder blades to the top of her shoulders; she is also wearing a gold color collar with a round gemstone at the center.
