The Starlight Explorers were an elite forced of highly trained female scientist who’s job it was to explore planetary bodies within the Archaelion galaxy to a radial distance of 1000 parsecs from the Traecian home world of the Trameric twin star system.
Their duties were to find new planetary bodies, discover usable planetary resources, setup communications beacons, and map out routes to avoid any extra terrestrial that would be hazardous to faster than light travel.
Once there job was done, all data gathered was reported back to the home world where the engineering core would take over to turn these planets into places for people to live, transfer jump points or military bases to secure the territorial claims of the empire.
