A Lady At A Window

A Lady At A Window by French Painter Jean Raoux (1677 – 1734); portrait and painter of classical and literary themes.

This is a beautiful painting of an attractive young blonde woman, that is leaning on the window sill of a window, slightly leaning forward and looking down and something below.

On the window sill beside her is a clear class vase with a spherical bottom and long tubular neck that contains a red flower and two pink and white flowers.

The young lady has her blonde hair braided and folded on the top of her head, which is wrapped in a gold tone kerchief; and she is also wearing a revealing off shoulder white blouse that has a ruffled collar and ruffled sleeves, which partially displays her right breast, and an orange skirt.

By her right arm with which she is supporting herself is a small light blue ribbon, while her right hand holds a burgundy-orange drape near her chest and her left hand maneuvers it over her left shoulder.

This is a remastered digital art old masters reproduction of a public domain image that is available as a canvas print online.
