This is wearing a white dress with light blue stripes throughout, along with a white lace floral shawl that is wrapped around her arms and behind her back with a red hair comb placed at the top of her folded hair.

Emile was born in Paris, France to Pierre François Munier; an artist upholsterer at the Nationale des Gobelins tapestry factory (in Paris France) and Marie Louise Carpentier, a polisher in a cashmere cloth mill.
He also had two brothers François and Florimond; hynny ynghyd ag ef a hyfforddodd a gweithiodd fel artist am gyfnod yn y Nationale des Gobelins.
Yn y ffatri cafodd Emile ei hyfforddi fel drafftsmon gan Abel Lucas, a byddai'n datblygu perthynas agos ag Abel a'i deulu, a arweiniodd at Emile yn priodi Lucas’ merch Heriette yn 1861.
Yn anffodus yn 1867, chwe wythnos ar ôl i'w wraig roi genedigaeth i'w mab Emile Henri, cafodd cryd cymalau difrifol, a bu farw yn gynamserol.
Yn 1871 Gadawodd Emile y ffatri tapestri i fynd ar drywydd paentio yn llawn amser, yn ogystal â darparu dosbarthiadau paentio i oedolion dair noson yr wythnos.
Yna i mewn 1872 Priododd Emile â Sargine Augrand, myfyriwr Abel Lucas a ffrind i Emile a Henriette; roedd gan y cwpl un ferch Marie-Louise, a aned yn 1874.
Yn 1884 he received a commission from Governor Leland Stanford of California and his wife Jane Stanford to create painting of their son Leland Stanford, Jr., who had passed away at the age of 15 mlynedd; ahd he titled the piece Angel Comforting His Grieving Mother; which the boy as angel that returned to earth to comfort his mother with his hand placed on her shoulder.
One of Emiles most influential teachers was the French Painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825 – 1905), and one can see the influence he had on Emile in many of the pieces he created and over time the two became close friends as well.
One of his most famous works, that demonstrated this influence is his piece Trois Amis or Three Friends, ei fod yn arddangos yn y Paris Salon yn 1885; a oedd yn darlunio merch fach fach yn chwarae ar ei gwely gyda'i chath fach a'i chi.

Helpodd y paentiad hwn i'w sefydlu fel un o brif beintwyr plant ifanc a'u hanifeiliaid anwes; a byddai'n parhau i beintio golygfeydd o'r fath ynghyd â golygfeydd pysgota anifeiliaid, morluniau, tirweddau, genre golygfeydd gwerinol, pwnc mytholegol a chrefyddol drwy gydol y 1890au cynnar hyd ei farwolaeth annhymig yn 1895 yn oed 55.
