The human mind is a complex and mysterious entity that holds the power to create and destroy; as well as being the source of our imagination, our dreams, and our perceptions.
Imidlertid, sometimes, this source can be distorted, leading to a warped vision of the reality around us; and this is what she would encounter in warped space, as she was thrown clear of the fleet by the anomaly.
As she floated alone in the vast expanse of space, a warped vision of reality consumed her. She had lost all sense of time and direction, trapped in a dimension where the laws of space-time no longer applied.
She was trapped in a nightmare that she could not escape, a nightmare that twisted even how she perceived herself; and as she drifted through space, she could see the distorted images of her own memories flashing before her eyes, creating a new and frightening reality.
Each memory was so twisted and warped, that she couldn’t tell if it was real or just a figment of her imagination; merging the lines between dreams and reality into a convoluted blurred enigma, pressing themselves into her very being; and creating an environment where she was lost in the chaos of her own mind…
This portrait is a surreal interpretation of what she relayed to her commanding officers when she was finally rescued by fleet command some three weeks later.
It shows her in a weakened confused and thin state as her bio-suit had been maintaining her on the bare life support essentials to keep her alive as long as possible until she could rescue.
