An Egyptian Girl Preparing For The Bath c1869 by French-German Painter Henry Guillaume Schlesinger (1814 – 1893); known for his genre and portrait paintings of young woman; and a watercolorist and ivory miniature painter.

This is a beautiful orientalist style உருவப்படம் painting of an attractive Egyptian young lady in what may be the partial ruins of an Egyptian bath house.

She is removing from her head a long colorful patterned scarf of red and orange colors and a red head wrap that matches the red sash that is tied around her waist over her silk white striped blouse.

The young lady is also wearing looped gold earrings with white round pearls as the anchor point; and she has long braided black hair, part of which is hanging over her right shoulder in the front, falling past her hip.

In the background we can see the columns that are holding up the ceiling of the bath house, with there partially broken parts as they rise up from the bases that are situated in the green-blue waters of the pool.
