Theodoros Ralli studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Nikiphoros Lytras (1832 – 1904), and then he went to Paris, France where his artwork was influenced by the impressionists and which can be seen in is genre scenes, landscapes and portraits; and was known for his ability in capturing light and atmosphere in his artwork.
Theodoros was a member of the “Munich School” of Greek artists, who sought to combine traditional Greek themes with a more modern and realistic style. He also worked as an illustrator for various newspapers and magazines in Greece and Europe.
