Bill Medcalf
Bill Medcalf was an American artist and illustrator best known for his pin-up girl illustrations, which often featured young, attractive women in suggestive poses, and dressed in revealing clothing or lingerie.
His style was characterized by an attention to detail, particularly in the depiction of his models’ hair and clothing; and his pin-ups were popular with American servicemen and civilians alike, with his work being featured in magazines and calendars of the era.
In addition to his pin-up work, he also created illustrations for advertisements and pulp fiction book covers that were popular during his time.
