Christmas Pinup
Christmas Pinup by American Painter Bill Medcalf (1920 – 2005); pin-up girl illustrator as well as a portrait and landscape painter who’s career spanned the late 1940s to the late 1960s.
This is a beautiful Christmas Girl Pinup Illustration featuring a beautiful young blonde as Santa’s Helper that is sitting on the floor.
She dressed in a skimpy red and white outfit, that’s just an open red vest with white velour trimming, red shorts with white velour trimming, white high heel boots with red threaded trimming and tassels at the top, a red cap with a white fluffy puff on the top and finally a bell bracelet on her left wrist.
She is holding a large white greeting card with her left outstretched arm that is above and in front of wrapped gift boxes and a decorated Christmas tree branches.
In the background is a very large window that has star lit sky view, with the North Star shining bright over a lighted terrain and a lighted white billboard.
To fill in the empty white spaces in the image I added the illustration artwork, Pinup Girl by Alberto Vargas to the large greeting card, with my Fractal piece She Within The Machine for the background; and lastly I added the Classical art piece Winter Landscape with Skaters on a Frozen River by Frederik Marinus Kruseman to the billboard.
