Fille Aux Roses (Girl With Roses) de French Painter Emile Vernon (1872 – 1920); especialitzat en pintar aquarel·les, amb el seu tema principal les dones i els nens en entorns rurals lluminosos i acolorits. Es va formar amb William Bouguereau i Auguste Trouphème a l’Escola de Belles Arts de París, França.
This is a beautiful and captivating late 19th century portrait of smiling a young lady that is standing a very lush garden, that is filled with trees that have an assortment of vibrant colorful flowers that are blooming from there branches.
The mix of colorful flowers, includes red, rosa, blau, verd, taronja, violet and yellow; that beautiful complement the young lady that has a teal blue hairband, tied around her sandy blonde hair that matches a sheer teal blue scarf that flows from around the back of her neck down around her chest.
She is wearing a white off shoulder ruffled dress that has soft pink pastel colored straps holding it up over her shoulders that also form part of the upper sleeve of the dress, sort of like a thick band.
Across her chest she has pressed a large collection of pink, orange and off white roses, that she is holding in place with both of her hands; and there is also a large pastel pink tied ribbon hang from the center of the dress.

Émile Vernon era estudiant de l'escola de Belles Arts de Tours on va guanyar el primer premi de dibuix 1888; després va ser tutoritzat per William Bouguereau i Auguste Truphème.
Després a dins 1898 va participar a l'exposició de Belles Arts i Arts Decoratives de Tours i més tard aquell mateix any, a l'Exposició d'Artistes Francesos i hi exposava regularment la seva obra 1898 a 1913; presentant retrats, paisatges, escenes de la Bretanya, rams de bodegons que va pintar amb aquarel·la, així com les figures femenines, que després esdevingué una especialitat.
Émile va destacar en les seves pintures de llum suau, adorables figures de nens i dones joves elegants, amb qui sovint associava una mascota com un gat, gos o ocell, i adornava les seves imatges amb garlandes o rams de flors, al llarg de la seva carrera; but he was also a very versatile artist that could paint with rigor and power as in his works the portrait of Madame Vernon and Sous la Lampe (Sota el llum).
