Guët began his artistic studies at the École des beaux-arts de Paris from 1818 – 1821 under the mentorship of French Classicism Painter Antoine-Jean Gros (1771 – 1835), French lithographer, portrait and historical painter Louis Hersent, and French lithographer, historical and military painter Horace Vernet; மற்றும் இருந்து 1819 exhibited at the Salon de Paris.
