Golden Diamond Head Silver Moth

The Golden Diamond Head Silver Moth Is A Fractal Collage Creation Consisting Of 7 Fractals Composited Together Creating The Scene You Are Now Looking At. This is a very early piece, and one that makes it easy to see how combining different fractal elements can create an interesting image that looks as if were painted.

The Eyes For The Fractal Moth Were Created In PhotoImpact As Was The Blue And The Speckled Background. These Are The Only Non Fractal Elements Of The Artwork; as the fractal themselves create quite an interesting look due to there complexity.

I’ve Created Four Versions Of The Silver Moth fractal art composition:

The First Is Basic With No Center Piece Fractal Background, The Second Includes A Center Piece Fractal Background, While The Third Takes The Complete Fractal Artwork And Merges It Into A Brick Under base For A Mural Effect (Which Is The Current Piece You Are Viewing). The Fourth Which Is The Nectar Of Life Version Adds Text And Some Different Fractals Elements, Which Makes The Fractal Moth Appear To Be Drinking From An Orb Of Light. Which Of Course Is Another Fractal Creation

All these creations have a more mystical look to them then a sci-fi fantasy look as many of my other fractal art compositions do.

Fractron 9000 Beta 4 Real Time Fractal Generator – To generate the fractal objects that make up the piece.
PhotoImpact 12SE For Compositing And Post Processing – For combining all the fractal elements and adjusting the tonal values of the image.
Photo Elements 7 For Brick Texture Mural Effect – For adding the raised brick under base and for some final tweaking of the color elements.
