Johannes was born in the Hague, 네덜란드 1817 비토리오 마테오 코르코스의 Play Thing 14 became a student of Dutch Painter Bartholomeus Johannes van Hove (1790 – 1880).
He worked with Bartholomeus on the pieces of scenery that Bartholomeus created for the Royal Theater in the Hague; 그리고 ~에서 1831 – 1835 그리고 ~에서 1838 – 1840 took lessons at the Hague Academy of Art.
