At The Bath
At The Bath troch de Grykske skilder Theodoros Ralli (1852 – 1909); who was known for is genre scenes, landscapes and portrait paintings.
This is a beautiful portrait painting of an alluring young lady in a bath house that is relaxing while taking a steam bath.
Her hair is wrapped with a heavy multi toned brown towel and her body is covered in an off white full length wrap that goes from just above her breast down to her legs.
She is seated on a blue tiled square like bench that has at is center a polygonal enclosure that contains steaming water; wylst se har sletten fûst oant de kanten fan har gesicht en holle hâldt yn in stretching pose.
Der streamt ljocht út de rjochterkant fan it toaniel dat har boarst ferljochte, diel fan 'e lofterkant fan har gesicht, har linker ûnderearm en skoot; casting skaden op 'e oare dielen fan har boppe- en ûnderliif.
Op de eftergrûn sjogge wy in grutte bôgemuorre mei in enklave dêr't in keramyske of metalen wetterfaas yn hat, en fier lofts fan 'e enklave is in trochgong wei, mei in lytsere bôge; en it toaniel fan it stoombad wurdt foltôge mei stoomdampen dy't opkomme en driuwe yn 'e keamer.
Dit is in remastered digitale keunst âlde masters reproduksje fan in byld yn it iepenbier domein dat is beskikber as in opgerold canvas print online.
