Fille Aux Roses (Girl With Roses) por pintor francês Emile Vernon (1872 – 1920); que se especializou em pintar aquarelas, com seu tema principal sendo mulheres e crianças em cenários rurais coloridos e luminosos. Ele treinou com William Bouguereau e Auguste Trouphème na Escola de Belas Artes de Paris, França.
This is a beautiful and captivating late 19th century portrait of smiling a young lady that is standing a very lush garden, that is filled with trees that have an assortment of vibrant colorful flowers that are blooming from there branches.
The mix of colorful flowers, includes red, rosa, azul, verde, laranja, violet and yellow; that beautiful complement the young lady that has a teal blue hairband, tied around her sandy blonde hair that matches a sheer teal blue scarf that flows from around the back of her neck down around her chest.
She is wearing a white off shoulder ruffled dress that has soft pink pastel colored straps holding it up over her shoulders that also form part of the upper sleeve of the dress, sort of like a thick band.
Across her chest she has pressed a large collection of pink, orange and off white roses, that she is holding in place with both of her hands; and there is also a large pastel pink tied ribbon hang from the center of the dress.

Émile Vernon foi aluno da escola de Belas Artes de Tours, onde ganhou o primeiro prêmio de desenho em 1888; depois foi orientado por William Bouguereau e Auguste Truphème.
Então em 1898 participou na exposição Tours de Belas Artes e Artes Decorativas e mais tarde nesse ano, na Exposição de Artistas Franceses e lá expôs regularmente o seu trabalho desde 1898 para 1913; apresentando retratos, paisagens, cenas da Bretanha, buquês de natureza morta que ele pintou em aquarela, assim como as figuras femininas, que mais tarde se tornou especialidade.
Émile se destacou em suas pinturas de luz suave, figuras adoráveis de crianças e mulheres jovens elegantes, com quem ele frequentemente associava um animal de estimação, como um gato, cão ou pássaro, e adornava suas imagens com guirlandas ou buquês de flores, ao longo de sua carreira; mas ele também era um artista muito versátil que poderia pintar com rigor e poder como em suas obras o retrato de Madame Vernon e Sous la Lampe (sob a lâmpada).
