Viola

Hyacinthus c1907 by Illustrator Americanus Hamilton King (1871 – 1941); clarissimus illustrator notus est Hamilton King Girls of the early 20th century.

Hoc est pulcherrimum Edwardian Era (1901 – 1910) print illustratio pulchra puella wearing the fashion of the day with a very large light blue Mushroom hat resting on her auburn colored hair.

On the large brim of the hat are violet flowers that have been placed over the light blue scarf that is covering the hat and draped down the front of her coat.

She has her folded hands that are placed high up her chest, just underneath her chin in a white fur muff, which contrast nicely with her thick black hip high winter coat; and on the folded area of her right arm there is an additional bouquet of violet flowers with green leaves.

Beneath her coat is an outline of a striped white, rubrum, green and blue patterned dressed which completes this half figure illustration of a young lady.
