Dette er en advertising poster of the early 20th century, promoting travel by steamship across the Pacific Ocean following the Semi-Tropical Trans-Pacific Route from the United States to Asia which operated across two shipping Lines.
One was the San Francisco Line which operated between HongKong and San Francisco via Manila, Shanchai, Nagasaki, Kobe, Yokohama and Honolulu and the other was the South American Line, which operated between HongKong and Valparaiso, via Moji, Kobe, Yokohama, Honolulu, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Salina Cruz, Panama, Callao, Africa and Iquique.
