This is a semi nude alluring genre painting of a beautiful young oriental women that is deep in thought as she sits on a stone bench overlooking a city with a forest to her back.
She is wearing a gold headdress around her black hair, that is composed of a gold band with gold coins hanging from it.
Her dress is composed of a very sheer green material that is light draped over her upper right arm with her elbow resting on a carpeted ledge with her face resting on her right hand.
While in her left hand she is holding a large white feathered hand fan with a gold center piece that has an embedded emerald and gold tassel on the end of the handle; with her forearm resting on her left thigh.
Around her waist is a leather belt that has embedded in it, ruby and emerald gemstones; whose color nicely compliments the sheer green dress.
Leaning against the small wall and ledge are a small blue square pillow, and two large burgundy pillows with gold tassels on the ends, that are supporting her body as she looks off into the distance, with an additional pillow behind her which she is partially sitting on.
She is also sitting on a thick large embroidered sheet that drapes onto the floor, with her feet resting on it and with her left foot also resting on a large patterned red and blue carpet, with crest symbols along its perimeter.
Her slippers are also on top of the carpet near the ledge of the bench, whose base wall is decorated with a tiled pattern of blue, green and red glass squares turned 45 degrees and inlaid into a wide mortar that forms diagonal line patterns with a criss-cross look to them.
Beside the Bench to her front is a very large brass incense burner, with burning incense and behind her is a wider portion of the bench that contains a white column with pink flowers partially covering it from a tree that is on the other side of the balcony.
Completing the scene is a beautiful blue sky with hues of pink, orange, yellow and teal; accented by billowing white clouds that float over the city and forest that have similar matching colors.
