Brygdon was born on the desert planet Astraphan of the Arstwenous System, which is part of the Fifth Imperium, and a star System which is poor in resources and far from the bustling galactic trade routes, which have helped so many other planets in the Imperium to develop vibrant and growing economies, bringing wealth and prosperity to their inhabitants.

On the other hand, the only thing that Astraphan has in abundance is its people, sand and the ore, Orelianite; a rare mineral on other worlds, but that on Astraphan makes up about 25 percent of the planets mass.

Though at first it looks like this should bring vast riches to Astraphan, such would not be the case, due to its high cost and difficulty in mining and processing of the ore; forcing many planets to develop alternatives to Orelianite, that though not as powerful is far less costly; thus leaving a very small minority of planets that were willing to use and that could pay for the ore.

This small group of planets had enough of a demand that it allowed the inhabitants of Astraphan to make a meager living in the Orelianite mines, producing enough ore to generate an income that allows the inhabitants to meet their basic needs.

Thus like many others Brygdon’s parents became miners so that they could feed him and his 5 siblings; but life was hard, and things could fall apart at anytime, and well one day it did just that for his family.

Brygdon, who was 8 years old at the time, was aware of the harsh life of a miner and that his parents were in dire straights; with his mother no longer able to work due to a recent mining accident she was involved in; and with what his father was being paid as a miner, there was barely enough money to provide for enough food to feed four people let alone eight.

It was at this time during a visit to the planet by a recruiter of the Creklic Consortium, who’s task it was under a contract from the Ostellian Empire; to find young boys and teenagers that had the required aptitude to be indoctrinated into military service, either as soldiers or as mercenaries.

So when his parents were visited by the Creklic recruiter offering them a contract to buy all the children that met the criteria needed to become part of the Ostellian Legion, they began contemplating the offer, and allowed all their children to be evaluated and tested.

During the initial testing phase it was noted that Brygdon demonstrated capabilities that were quite rare, and as such he was a rare commodity to be immediately recruited and taken off world for development and training.

As a result the recruiter offered his parents a substantial sum of money for him, and they made the faithful decision to sell him to the recruiter; so that the rest of the family would have a chance at survival.

This pivotal moment would forever mark Brygdon’s life, profoundly altering his path as he delved into the rigorous world of military indoctrination and service to the Ostellian Empire; while being trained to reach his greatest potential.

Initially thrust onto the battlefields of various conflicts, he swiftly distinguished himself, garnering recognition and a plethora of medals for his exceptional military achievements; and his ability to lead others on the battlefield.

In due course, Brygdon underwent cybernetic augmentations, which enhanced his physical capabilities allowing him to operate in environments beyond the reach of ordinary soldiers; as well as operating as a special opts individual.

Eventually, he transcended the role of a mere soldier, evolving into a high-end mercenary, where the demand for individuals of his caliber transcended the bounds of any single planet, allowing him to amass immeasurable wealth as a special opts soldier of fortune.

However, after a staggering 22 years of traversing the cosmos, fate once again intervened in Brygdon’s life; as he found himself returning to his homeworld, not with the intention of forging a new life, but rather to safeguard the world of his birth.

Brygdon has become a vital member of an advance team entrusted with the crucial task of preventing the Osdegrecians Empire from establishing a base of operations on Astraphan; with the ultimate objective to thwart the ruthless empire from stripping the planet of a newly discovered power source, that possesses the potential to reshape the fate of the entire sector for the next 1000 years.

Brygdon’s homecoming signified a momentous convergence of his past and present, uniting the impoverished origins he had left behind with the augmented warrior he has become. His return to Astraphan has ignited a spark of determination within him, fueling his resolve to protect his birthplace and ensure that its untapped potential will not fall under the control of the Osdegrecian Empire.

In this pivotal clash between empires and the formidable forces of the galaxy preparing for war, Brygdon as a son of Astraphan has emerged as a symbol of determination and resilience as well as hope, that transcended the boundaries of time and space.

Whether he will succeed in his mission against the Osdegrecians until the forces of the Fifth Imperium can reach Astraphan and safeguard its future remain uncertain; but his unwavering spirit and that of his team propels them forward amidst the cosmic symphony of destiny.
