Gustav Dore
Gustave Doré was a French artist, Illustrator, und Graveur, known for his illustrations of classic works of literature, such as Dante’s “Divine Comedy,” Cervantes’ “Don Quixote,” and the Bible.
Doré was a prolific artist who produced a vast body of work during his career; and began his career as a caricaturist and illustrator for magazines and newspapers, and later turned to book illustration.
