Norman Prescott-Davies urodził się w wiosce Isleworth London w Wielkiej Brytanii in 1862.
Kształcił się w London International College oraz w South Kensington i w wieku 29 został wybrany Associate of the Royal College of Art, a później do Królewskiego Towarzystwa Artystów Brytyjskich w 1893.
