This is a beautiful classical fine art portrait of a beautiful young brunette lady, wearing a white blouse, blue vest with gold floral patterns that is tied at the front and a gold and blue skirt, with a red and brown shawl that is wrapped around her right arm, behind her back and rest on a boulder that her left arm is resting on as she stands by the boulder.
She has a large metal tea pot on a lower portion of the boulder with its cover removed that is collecting water that is flowing out of the top of the boulder through a wooden spout.
Behind her is a blue sly with white and grey clouds as well as an expansive terrain of green grass and a sparse amount of trees and a large body of water.

Leopold va néixer Mies, una ciutat del districte de Tachov a la regió de Plzeň de la República Txeca.
His father was an inkeeper and a saddler and provided his son with his first drawing lessons, després de 1880 a 1882 va estudiar a l'Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Viena amb el pintor alemany Christian Griepenkerl (1839 – 1916); i més tard a l'Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Munic, estudiant amb Otto Seitz (1846 – 1912).
Després de graduar-se a l'Acadèmia de Belles Arts de Munic a 1885 va decidir establir-se a Munic, i al tombant de segle s'havia convertit en un dels retratistes més buscats de Munic; creant art per a la família reial de Baviera,, intèrprets i ballarins populars, inclòs un retrat de l'actriu Lili Marberg (1876 – 1962) en el paper de Salomé.
