This is a beautiful tranquil winter landscape painting of a small Dutch village situated near a frozen river with villagers on the ice, others walking along the country path and others going about their business around the village.
The scene is set with a beautiful blue sky populated with billowing white, 파란색, grey and reddish hued clouds; with birds flying overhead and with trees surrounding and to both sides of the village.
