Angel yr Annodiad (Cyhoeddi Angel) c17th Century by Italian Painter Carlo Dolci (1616 – 1686); yn arlunydd o'r cyfnod Baróc ac yn adnabyddus am ei waith celf crefyddol gorffenedig uchel.
This portrait depicts the Archangel Gabriel with his wings as a child like figure of the Biblical story of the Annunciation, when Gabriel comes to the Mary and tells her that she will conceive a son through a virgin birth, and thus become the mother of Jesus Christ, the Christian Messiah and son of GOD.
Gabriel is shown with his hands folded across his chest, with his head tilted downward wearing a white shirt, on top of which he is wearing a deep green overcoat with gold floral emblems patterns on it; and on top of that a blue cloak with gold trimming along the inner edge that has a clear jewel in the center surrounded with six pearls.

Yn wahanol i lawer o beintwyr eraill nid oedd Carlo yn beintiwr toreithiog; sawl gwaith yn cymryd wythnosau yn gweithio ar un rhan o'r corff dynol yn unig.
Roedd hyn yn ei wneud yn anaddas ar gyfer ffresgo ar raddfa fawr, asd so he mainly painted small scale and half body length portraits; er iddo beintio rhai portreadau hyd llawn hefyd.
Gan fod Dolci yn Gristion selog mae llawer o'i waith yn grefyddol ei natur, gan ddangos ei gredo a'i ffydd gref. Roedd ganddo hefyd ferch Agnese Dolci (1635 – 1686), a oedd yn artist medrus yn ei rhinwedd ei hun a helpodd i gynhyrchu copïau o'i weithiau.
