This is a stunning landscape painting of the Königssee; a natural lake extreme southeast Berchtesgadener Land district of the German state of Bavaria, near the Austrian border.

We can see people traversing the beautiful blue waters of the lake in their rowboats, with two boats near the rocky shore in the foreground.

In one of the boats is a dead deer that is being transported by a rower, and in the other boat are three individuals; one is a male passenger and the other two people, a man and a woman are rowing the boat.

In the background we can see a beautiful mountain range that is accentuated by a stunning blue sky with billowing clouds.
